ChinaSource Connect: A Heartfelt Gathering of Worship, Prayer, Fellowship, and Unity

Passionate about the transformative work of God’s church in China? Have a heart for global collaboration and partnerships? Join us for a significant event that promises inspiration, connection, and a deeper understanding of the journey of faith in China.

The ChinaSource team is excitedly preparing for a week of in-person meetings, happening from August 28 to September 1 in Alhambra, California. Central to this gathering is ChinaSource Connect on Thursday, August 31 when we invite you to join us for worship, prayer, and updates on the incredible strides of God’s church in China. Yet, it’s more than that; it’s an opportunity to reunite with old friends and extend a warm welcome to new friends just getting to know us.

An Invitation from Kerry Schottelkorb

Watch a short video invite and introduction from ChinaSource President, Kerry Schottelkorb.

The evening will begin with a light supper and time for fellowship from 6 to 7pm, followed by the program from 7 to 8:30pm.

Register for either supper and the program or just the program so we can have enough food for everyone. We look forward to meeting with both old and new friends!

Event Highlights

  • Food and Fellowship: A time of informal fellowship around a light supper will begin our evening.
  • Worship and Prayer: Picture the power of united worship and prayer, creating an atmosphere of spiritual connection that brings hearts closer and bridges gaps.
  • Insightful Updates: Rev. Kerry Schottelkorb, President of ChinaSource, Joann Pittman, Vice-President for China Engagement and Partnerships, and Dr. Brent Fulton, Founder of ChinaSource will welcome you and share exciting reports, which illuminate how God is fostering global unity to serve and partner with the church in China. And the welcoming smiles are too good to miss!

Brent Fulton shares:

A raft of new laws and regulations coming out over the past few years signals greater repression for China’s Christians. Yet these measures tell only part of the story. Believers on the ground are responding with ingenuity and hope, even as they are forced to rethink how they live out their faith in this uncertain environment. A bright spot continues to be China’s growing mission movement, which is gaining momentum but also grappling with the complexities of caring for those who have been sent out. In response, a growing network of global mission leaders and member care practitioners is mobilizing to help equip those who can come alongside China’s future missionaries.

We Want to Connect with You!

If you’re in the Southern California area, we warmly invite you to join us on August 31 at 6:30pm. Your presence will enrich our time together. Feel free to bring friends and family or pass along our warm invitation to others who share a passion for God’s work in China.

Hope to see you soon!
