Webinar Recording: How Relevant Is the Gospel for the Chinese?

On September 10, we hosted a webinar titled “How Relevant is the Gospel for the Chinese?”  The presenter was I’Ching Thomas, who serves as the International Director of Leadership Development for Operation Mobilization. She is also the author of Jesus, The Path to Human Flourishing. If you are working with Chinese, either in China or abroad, this book is a must-read.

In the webinar, she talked about ways to articulate the gospel in terms that are attractive and significant to those she calls “cultural Chinese.” She also addresses the issue of how they can be honorable followers of Christ without shedding their ethnic identities.

Following her presentation, there was a robust and wide-ranging Q&A time.

Here is the recording of the webinar in its entirety. You can also find it on YouTube.

We are grateful to I’Ching for taking the time out of her already busy schedule to share with us.
