Pastor Steve Um Talks about the Chinese Church


In the first conversation, he observes that the church in China has not been enslaved by secondary issues, but has been able to maintain the centrality of the gospel:

In the second conversation, he shares his hope that as China continues to exert its influence on the world stage, the church will also play a role in impacting the world with the gospel.

The two main challenges that he sees are the lack of trained leaders and the cultural tendency of adopting all things new without taking the time to process and incubate.
