Public Mission in a Pluralistic Social Context
Can the Malaysian Chinese Church shift from a community primarily concerned with its own survival to one that participates in the holistic mission of God and seeks the peace of this land?
Yew Kuan Yee (邱君爾) is the Director of Chinese Theological Education by Extension (TEE) at Seminari Theoloji Malaysia and the Deputy General Secretary of the West Malaysia Chinese Christian Church of the World Evangelism (CCCOWE). He previously served as the Training Director at the Hong Kong Institute for Scripture Research and worked as a missionary. Upon returning to Malaysia, he founded Life SOAR, an organization dedicated to equipping young people for missions and social engagement. He also serves as a committee member of the National Evangelical Christian Fellowship (NECF) Chinese Division and a pastor at SG Buloh Gospel Hall. His ministry focuses on theological education, campus missions, social concern, and public theology, with expertise in inductive Bible study training, spiritual direction, workplace transformation, and university discipleship.
