Picturing the Church in China

In the 2017 spring edition of the ChinaSource Quarterly, published last month, we highlighted survey results of Christian workers in China (local and foreign). The research project was carried out by the China Gospel Research Alliance, made up of representatives from OMF, Frontier Ventures, Open Doors, and ChinaSource. Here’s a brief background to the survey, as stated in the article, ”Perceptions and Priorities of Christian Leaders in China:”

During the last three decades, opportunities have greatly increased for cooperation between Christians inside and outside China, both in strengthening the church in China and in advancing the gospel beyond China’s borders. As China and its church have undergone rapid change, varying perceptions have emerged inside and outside China regarding the situation of the Chinese church, its priorities, needs, and expectations for working with the church outside China.

The CGRA partnered with Global Mapping International (GMI) to produce a handy infographic portraying the key findings in the survey.

You can download a pdf or image version of the infographic directly from GMI. They also have a helpful guide on how to use the infographic for prayer, personal reflection, engagement, and application.
