JuTa Pan

Juta Pan (潘儒達), PhD (The University of Edinburgh, School of Divinity) from Taiwan, is the pastor of the Chinese Bible Church of Greater Boston serving Chinese overseas students and scholars in the Boston area. During his sabbatical in 2012 he was a visiting scholar at Princeton Theological Seminary focusing his research on postmodernism. He and his wife, Chaolu-an (高昭鑾), ThD (History of Christianity from Boston University) live in Boston and have a daughter studying in Boston Col-lege.

Having worked with Chinese students from overseas who are studying in North America, the author poses the question of how North American Chinese churches should modify their strategies in order to reach these students. After detailing some of the characteristics of postmodern students, he draws from his experience to explain and give examples of strategies he has found useful.
