Contrary to what many think, getting ahold of legally published Christian books in China is quite easy. In addition to Christian bookstores, which exist in most major cities, China's e-commerce site Taobao is a great source of Christian material.
Taobao is e-commerce with Chinese characteristics; think of Amazon on steroids. Think of it as an online marketplace where anyone can open a "stall" and sell something. It's a "no-holds-barred" place where you can purchase everything from a Betty Crocker brownie mix to a BMW motorcycle. If you've got something to sell in China, then Taobao is the place to set up shop.
Two of the best Taobao shops for purchasing Christian books are Baojiayin and ZDL Books.
