Kitty Barnhouse Purgason is on the faculty of Biola University. She taught EFL in China from 1980 to 1982, and has also taught in Korea, Indonesia, Vietnam, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Kuwait, Oman, and Spain. She has a PhD in Applied Linguistics from UCLA. She is the author of Professional Guidelines for Christian Teachers: How to be a Teacher with Convictions while Respecting those of your Students.
