Joshua Guo

Born in 1980 in Anyang, Henan, Rev. Joshua Guo holds a BA from the China Youth University of Political Studies and an MA from Peking University’s School of Government. He was baptized on Christmas Day in 2004, began leading a student fellowship in 2007, and became a full-time minister in 2010.He earned both a Master of Divinity and a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Columbia International University’s School of Intercultural Studies, with his doctoral research focusing on the relationship between church and state.

While in the US, he founded Columbia Living Stone Chinese Christian Church. In 2016, he returned to China and established Beijing Truth and Grace Baptist Church, where he now serves as senior pastor.
