Barney is an American who has lived among and served Chinese people for more than 30 years. He has witnessed a century of change in less than a generation in China, but can say from experience that the greatest changes which have taken place are not in the height and number of buildings, or the rapid increase in the number of cars. China may have had her “Cultural Revolution” in the 60s and 70s; but the 80s and 90s she had a “Spiritual Revolution” which has changed the very nature of the Chinese people for generations to come.
