Donor Relations Manager

Job Type: Part-time contract, 15-20 hours/month
Salary expectations: Negotiable
Location: Virtual, North American time zone

Summary

The ChinaSource Donor Relations Manager is responsible for cultivating lasting relationships with a spectrum of donors and managing the ChinaSource donor program in order to meet annual revenue goals. The manager will work within a set budget to maximize the return on investment of various donor outreach campaigns across a range of media. They will use the Salesforce CRM to track and report on all current donor activity and planned development. This position requires reporting skills, critical thinking, collaboration, project management, data analytics, and excellent interpersonal communication expertise in verbal and written formats. 

We are looking for someone who is a mature Christian, committed to the mission, vision and philosophy of ChinaSource, and has an interest or has had some on-the-ground experience in China and Chinese ministry. This person is self-motivated, resourceful, organized, personable, and able to work independently in a virtual team environment. Fund development experience is preferred.

Major objectives

  1. Manage, execute, and implement the fund development strategy and be responsible for meeting existing benchmarks and targets to drive fund development and reach organizational goals.
  2. Engage, manage, and maintain existing donors on all levels through networking and donor communications.
  3. Act as the owner of all the donor information, including planning and managing the donor calendar, and applying data to increase donor retention and donations.
  4. Design, create, set up, execute, and provide follow up on all campaigns and donor events. This role measures results of campaigns and donor events for impact on donors and donations.
